Check-in time

Your stay at The Ald begins at 3:00 PM. Should you wish to arrive earlier, early check-in from 1:00 PM is available for €25, subject to availability.

Check-out time

Even the most beautiful moments must eventually come to an end. Your room is reserved for you until 11:00 AM. If you prefer to extend the quiet a little longer, late check-out until 1:00 PM is available for €25, subject to availability. 

Entrance
Our doors are open 24 hours a day. Arriving after 11:00 PM? Please ring the doorbell and show your room key to our night porter, who will gladly welcome you. 

Smoking
The Ald is a 100% non-smoking hotel. Smoking in rooms or public areas will result in a €150 cleaning fee. 

Pets
Pets are not permitted, with the exception of certified assistance dogs.

Credit Cards

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Maestro credit and debit cards.

Temperature
The temperature in your room can be adjusted using the climate control unit.

Bedding
If you would like additional bedding or extra pillows, please contact reception. We are happy to assist.

Do Not Disturb
If you prefer privacy, place the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign outside your door and your room will not be serviced. For safety reasons, a brief visual check of each room is carried out once every 24 hours. Please note that ‘Do Not Disturb’ requests are honoured until check-out time on the day of departure. 

Save the environment
Will you stay with us for several nights? Help us reduce our environmental impact by skipping intermediate room cleaning. Simply hang the tree-shaped door hanger outside your room before midnight. We will skip cleaning the next day and plant one tree on your behalf. Multiple trees can be planted during the same stay, excluding the day of departure.

Mini safe
A mini safe is available in your room for your valuebles. Close the door, enter a four-digit code, press lock, and your belongings are safely stored. To open, re-enter your code.

Electricity
The hotel electrical supply is 220V to 240V. To activate the electricity in your room, insert your room key into the holder located near the entrance.If you require an adaptor, please contact reception.

If you have any housekeeping needs or preferences, please let us know.

Room key
If you expierence any issues with your room key or lose it during your stay, please contact reception immediately. For security reasons, identification is required before a new key can be issued. You may return your room key at the reception at any time. Upon departure, we kindly ask you to hand in the key at the reception.

Something broken?
If something in your room is not functioning properly, please inform reception and our technician will take care of it promptly.

Parking
The Hague is a vibrant and popular city, and parking in the city centre can be limited and costly. As our guest, we offer a more convenient option.

You can park at Q-Park Muzenplein. By reserving your parking space in advance via Q-Park, you benefit from a reduced rate and are assured of a guaranteed space, allowing you to arrive without stress.

Public transport
The hotel is located within a seven-minute walk of The Hague Central Station, the city’s main transport hub. From here, you can easily access trains, trams, and buses connecting you to the rest of the city and beyond.

Should you require a taxi, our reception team will gladly assist you. We recommend reserving in advance to avoid waiting times.

Floor plan

Each guest room includes a floor plan indicating your location for safe evacuation in the unlikely event of an emergency. We kindly ask you to take a moment to review the safety instructions displayed on the back of your room door. Our team is fully trained to assist guests in emergency situations. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact reception.

Power failure

In the event of power failure, emergency lighting will automatically illuminate throughout the building. For safety reasons, candles are not permitted in guest rooms.
